A Goa tour package is a safe bet for having a good time in the lovely scenic coastal state but it may not cover all the unique places to visit in Goa that make this charming destination like nothing you’ve experienced before! Vagator beach is a comparatively desolate than the more tourist preferred ones like Anujna and Baga. If you want to sit back and watch the waves hit the sand as the sun sets in the horizon, this is the place to experience calm like never before. Sip on a pint, have a bowl of freshly prepared Maggi and forget about your troubles!

A good Goa holiday package will probably include Anujna and Calangute and a few main ones. If you know how to drive, renting a car or a two wheeler is a great option for a two to three day vacation. There aren’t many Petrol pumps around and the nearest one from where you stay may be  a few kilometers away. However, petrol is readily available in bottles by the liter and a few liters should suffice you for a few days.

Goa is also a treat for architecture buffs. The Bom Jesus Basilica, Goa’s most famous church is one of the most revered Churches is located at Old Goa, 10 kilometres east of Panaji, It is partially in ruins now, The foundation stone of this historic church was laid on in 1594 and the church was consecrated by Fr. Alexia de Menezes, the Archbishop of Goa. The Primate of India consecrated it when it was completed in 1605.

Fort Aguada on Sinquerim Beach and its lighthouse is a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort and is frequented by many tourists. It has a number of upscale hotels and resorts and great places for eating out. Seafood, especially prawns are among the most authentic Goan specialties and cannot be missed!

Goa has something to offer for family travelers and couples as well groups of friends. Beautiful beaches and the sea from everywhere you look and a chilled out atmosphere that will take away your fatigue and stress!
